Home/Where to stay/Pyla/3-star hotels
3-star hotels in Pyla
A shortlist of 3-star stays in Pyla, the village on Cyprus's Dekelia Road between Larnaca and the buffer zone. It suits couples, families and independent travellers who want an apartment or small hotel base close to the beach.
Staying in Pyla
Pyla sits on the island's south-east coast along the Dekelia Road, the strip that links Larnaca with the Dekelia area. The hotels on this shortlist are spread along that road and the village's own streets, so guests are based between the village centre and the water rather than in a single resort compound. Several properties stand on Dekhelia Rd or Larnaca Dekeleia Road; others sit inland on named village streets such as Sokratous, Anthousis, Athinon Street and University Avenue.
For a visitor, that means a quiet, low-key base with the beach within reach of most addresses and Larnaca's airport and city within the same coastal corridor. The mix of hotels and self-catering apartments suits different trips: couples wanting a simple room with a balcony, families needing cots, family rooms and kitchens, and short-break visitors who prefer an apartment with free parking and free wifi over a full-service hotel.
