Home/Where to stay/Cyprus/4- and 5-star hotels
4- and 5-star hotels in Cyprus
A shortlist of 4- and 5-star hotels, villas and houses across Cyprus, for travellers who want a high-standard base for a beach, golf or countryside break.
Staying in Cyprus
Cyprus packs beaches, pine-covered hills and ancient sites into a compact island, and these 4- and 5-star properties sit in several different corners of it. The largest group clusters around Aphrodite Hills, where addresses such as Aphrodite Avenue, Palepaphos Street, Apollon Avenue and Hestiades Greens place the villas and apartments inside a golf and leisure resort. Others stand on smaller village streets in Tochni and in residential lanes elsewhere on the island, with a handful of houses and villas listed simply as Cyprus. That spread means you can pick a resort-style stay with pools and sports courts, or a quieter house base.
Couples and groups of friends will find the private-pool villas and the high-rated smaller houses suit them, while families are served by the family rooms, cots, babysitting services and swimming pools in the data. Golfers and anyone wanting on-site facilities and security gravitate to the Aphrodite Hills addresses; business travellers are less obviously catered for, since the listed facilities centre on leisure. For a short break, the resort village square within walking distance of several villas keeps dining and shops close at hand.

Questions, answered
Which of these hotels is closest to the centre?
The addresses do not give distances to any centre, so this cannot be ranked from the data. What is clear is that the Aphrodite Hills villas on Palepaphos Street are within walking distance of the resort village square, which is the closest thing to a centre in the listings.
Do any of these hotels have parking?
Yes. 3 bedroom Villa Lara 11, 3 bedroom Villa Pera 12, 5 bedroom Villa Rio and the 2 Bedroom Villa Proteus HG29 all list free car parking or parking, so a hire car is straightforward at those properties.
Which hotels are best for families?
Aphrodite Hills Rentals Elite Villas, the 5 bedroom Villa Rio and the 2 bedroom Apartment Artemis list babysitting service, and Artemis has two communal pools. Niovi House lists family rooms and a cot, and several villas provide cots.

Are pets allowed at any of these hotels?
None of the listed facilities mention pets, so the data does not confirm any of these properties as pet-friendly. It is worth asking the property directly before booking if you plan to travel with an animal.
