Home/Where to stay/Pegeia/4- and 5-star hotels
4- and 5-star hotels in Pegeia
This shortlist gathers the 4- and 5-star hotels and resorts in Pegeia, on Cyprus's western coast. It is for holidaymakers choosing between beachfront resorts at Coral Bay and quieter villa-style stays inland.
Staying in Pegeia
Pegeia is a coastal community in the Paphos district of western Cyprus, set on hills that drop towards the sea. Visitors come for the sandy sweep of Coral Bay, the sea caves and coastal paths, and the traditional stone village of Kathikas in the hills above. The area suits couples, families and anyone wanting a beach-based break rather than a city stay.
The hotels on this shortlist sit in two main parts of Pegeia. Several carry Coral Bay Avenue or Coral Bay Street addresses, placing them in the beach resort strip, among them Cali Resort & Spa by Louis Hotels, Coral Beach Hotel and Resort, Crown Resorts Horizon Hotel and Ascos Coral Beach Hotel. Others stand slightly inland, on Maniki Street, Akamatos Ave, Amalthia Street, Agios Georgios or Koutsollotremythias, and one, Michalis Anoyia Traditional Stonehouse, is up in Kathikas at 8573. Families tend to favour the resort hotels with babysitting and child care; couples and small groups often prefer the villas and apartments.
